Age 76, of Sewickley, passed away with his beloved wife by his side on Sunday, December 15, 2013. Born on November 9, 1937, in Denver, CO, he is the son of the late Leo Alroy and Mildred Moore. Beloved husband of Carol M. (Yamry) Moore; loving father of Charles Alroy, Kimberley (Gene) Tjin, Colette (Michael) Hoeschen, Susette (Andrew) Johnston, Annette (Gareth) Oystryk; and nine grandchildren. Charles served in the United States Air Force. He then entered and retired from Foreign Service as an officer. Charles attended Seattle University, Washington and Berkley College, California. He traveled, played golf and tennis. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Saints John & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 2586 Wexford Bayne Road, Sewlickley, PA, 15143. A private Committal Service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, at a later date.
