WOLFE CAROL GERTRUDE LETTY HIGGS LANGSTON 97, died Sunday morning December 15, 2013, at home in Redstone Highlands-Murrysville. She was born on October 13, 1916, in Riverside, IL. She was a wife, mother, homemaker, gardener, reader, bridge player, world traveler, real estate agent and a lifelong grammarian. Carol is survived by Susan L. Ross and husband William D. of Gloucester, MA; Merrily L. Dunford of Avon, CT, and Fort Myers Beach, FL; and Keith H. Langston and his wife Mary Karen of Murrysville. Carol also leaves seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Arthur and Mabel Higgs, Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred C. Langston, Jr., and her second husband, Frank B. Wolfe, and son-in-law, William H. Dunford. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Friday, December 27, 2013, at the HART FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3103 Lillian Avenue, Murrysville, PA 15668. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the Chapel at Redstone Highlands, 4953 Cline Hollow Road, Murrysville, PA 15668. No flowers, please.
