KIGHT RUSSELL M., Sr. On Friday, December 27, 2013, Russell M. Kight, Sr., age 96, of Munhall, formerly of the Northside, peacefully passed away. He was a devoted husband of 67 years to Olive (McElhaney); a wonderful father to Diane (Mike) Coyne and Russell (Jeanne) Kight, Jr.; a loving grandfather to Meaghan (Jon) Hankle, Brendan (Michelle) Coyne, and Ryan (Amanda) Kight; and a doting great-grandfather to William Russell and Violet Coyne, Colin and Abigail Hankle, and Cole Kight. Russ was a Platoon Sergeant and Aircraft Gunner in WWII, serving in Greenland, a longtime Mason, he was a member of the Milnor Lodge # 287. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family. Family and friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 460 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
