LEVITE MARLENE KLAHR Passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at the age of 81. Marlene was a 65-year resident of Squirrel Hill, whose career included both paid and volunteer pursuits in the areas of retail management, bookkeeping, girl scouting, Hadassah, and educational advocacy. She and her beloved husband of 59 years, Bob Levite, fulfilled a lifelong dream of moving to Florida in 1997 where they enjoyed a blissful retirement until Bob's passing in 2012. Marlene is survived by her daughters, Beverly (Alan) Buncher and Karen Zimmerman; along with grandchildren, Brad (Charla) Buncher, Samantha Buncher, Andrew Zimmerman, and Jordyn Zimmerman; and great- granddaughter, Lilly. Services at Star of David Sunday, January 12, 2014. Shiva is being held during the week at Beverly and Alan's home in Coconut Creek, FL.
