TECCA ARLENE E. 74, OF ALIQUI...

TECCA ARLENE E. 74, of Aliquippa, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, following a lengthy illness. Born July 28, 1939 in Cleveland, OH, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Annette (Vence) Sherman. She was a longtime resident of Moon Twp. until 1994. Mrs. Tecca was employed for 30 years as a secretary for the former Katy Railroad, before retiring in 1987. She then worked a short time for both US Air and Dick's Sporting Goods corporate offices in Pittsburgh. Arlene enjoyed spending time with friends and family, walking at the track, shopping, and her cats, Miles and Pretty. She was a dedicated Christian, who served Christ until her time on earth was done. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Tecca in 1984; her daughter, Mary Tecca, in 2006; and her sister, June Gasper, in 2013. She is survived, and will be greatly missed, by two sons, Frank (Debra) Tecca of Tulsa, OK, James (Amy) Tecca of Aliquippa; a daughter, Susan (Mike) Marovich of Aliquippa; a sister, Carol (Wally) Muro of Cleveland, OH; her good friend and walking buddy, Nina Abadiza of Aliquippa; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of her Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m. in TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, PA, 15001.
