Wife of the late James Bruce and the late Harry Buckley; daughter of the late Edward and Mary Flatley; mother of James (Joan) Bruce of Squirrel Hill, Patricia (James) Guerra of West Mifflin, Jeffrey (Jen) Buckley of South Carolina and Scott (Hayli) Buckley of Munhall; sister of the late Mary Matejcic, Margaret Ward and Edward Flatley; sister-in-law of Betty Flatley, LaRue Downey and Audrey Bruce; also survived by ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Esther was a Teacher's Aide for the Pittsburgh Public Schools for 20 years, retiring from Mifflin School and was active in the Mifflin School PTA for many years.
