Beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Seskey) Mentkowski; son of the late Anna and Michael Mentkowski; father of Regis, Jr., Gina and the late Becky; stepfather of David Seskey and Sally Seskey; brother of Chester; also survived by grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He retired as a Sergeant E-5 with 24 years faithful service in the US Army and continued with 20-plus years with the University of Pittsburgh Police.
