CONTRISTANO GERARDO JERRY THE ICE MAN Age 83, of Pittsburgh, on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Jerry was born in the Lower Hill District of Pittsburgh. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Reilly); dear father of Marion (Michael) Muck and Angelina (Todd) McCandless; loving grandfather of Michael (Christine) Muck, Christopher (Faris) McCandless and Erik McCandless; great-grandfather of Mackenzie Muck; uncle of Jerry (Rita) Contristano; and brother of the late Agnes Kempa, Josephine, Angelo, Rocco and Louis Contristano. Jerry owned the Ice House in Beechview for many years and was affectionately known as the Ice Man. He loved people, work and his family. When the ice is gone, the party is over.
