SLOBODNYAK KIMBERLY JEAN (WEBER) Of Wilkins Twp., age 59, on Saturday, July 6, 2013. Kim peacefully completed her life marathon and crossed the finish line surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Nick for 39 years; loving mother of Bonnie (Joe) Montalbano of Cranberry, Nicole Slobodnyak of Wilkins Twp., and Scott Slobodnyak of Brooklyn, NY; proud grandmother of Nick and Maddie Montalbano; sister of Denise (Jim) Weber-Gaiter, Clint (Sue) Weber and Dale (Angela) Weber; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Kim was the former Office Manager for Forest Hills Dental with 24 years of service. At age 41, Kim trained to become a long-distance runner and subsequently ran in eight marathons including the Pittsburgh, New York, Marine Corps, and Cleveland Marathons. She was an active member of the Mifflin Avenue Methodist Church in Wilkinsburg. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Wilkins Volunteer Fire Department #3 and the Order of Amaranth, Lodge #35 in Penn Hills. Friends welcome Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. at PATRICK T.
