CLOSE INEZ (HUGHES) 88, of Whitehall, born Helen Inez Hughes on November 25, 1925, in Fort Ogden, FL, went home to the Lord on March 15, 2014, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Close, Sr.; and sister, Ruth Hughes Clardy; and is survived by her children, Charlotte Close Tuttle, Charles W. (Cindy) Close, Jr., Christopher Edward Close, Carolyn Close Masiroff, and Cheryl Close (Cal) Mealey; grandchildren, Tamson Tuttle (David) Sullivan, David (Melinda) Tuttle, Stephen (Margaret) Tuttle, Chad Close, Darby Close (Jason) Chynoweth, Douglas Masiroff, Nancy Mealey (Jeffrey) Bailey, and Katherine Mealey (Michael) Kope; great-grandchildren, Charisten Palko (Tom) Rogers, Taneh Palko, Mackenzie Sullivan, Stefanie Sullivan (Mike) Ozmore, Theo Tuttle, Jessica Tuttle, Ethan Tuttle, Ryan Tuttle, Zachary Tuttle, Seth Sehon, Trinity Chynoweth, Gus Close, Alexandria Kope, Elijah Kope, Isabella Kope, and Rachel Bailey; great-great-grandchildren, Camron Rogers, Charisten Rogers, Kaydence Rogers, Emma Jenkins-Rogers, Bastian Nowak, David Burgess, Leona Ozmore, and Jacob Ozmore; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, on Friday, March 21, 2014, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 9 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. with Eric Hertzog, Chaplain with Heartland Hospice, officiating.
