DeSANTIS VINCENT J. Peacefully, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, age 90. Husband of the late Josephine (Martin); loving father of Diann Glickman of Tenafly, NJ, Larry of Baldwin Twp., and Lynn of Sacramento, CA; grandfather of Alexandra Glickman, Michael and Matthew, and Stephanie Greathouse. Vincent was originally from McKees Rocks. A decorated World War II veteran, he was a sharpshooter in the 45th Field Artillery Battalion 8th Infantry Division, who received several medals and citations, including the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for his bravery in the battles of Northern France and Rhineland in World War II. Vincent graduated from Duquesne University in 1951 and retired from H.J. Heinz U.S.A. Relatives and friends received 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in WILLIAM ECKELS FUNERAL HOME, 1923 Broadway Ave., Beechview.
