LANG CLAUDINE R. AGE 98, OF MT...

LANG CLAUDINE R. Age 98, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away of kidney failure on April 30, 2014, at The Pines of Mt. Lebanon. Caludine was born on December 2, 1915, in Michigan City, IN. She graduated from Mishawaka High School in Mishawaka, IN, in 1933. Her first job was in the payroll department at Dodge Manufacturing Corporation in Mishawaka. In 1940, she married Lawrence M. Lang. They were married for 36 years. Later, Claudine was employed as a secretary at the Ball Band Corporation and then as a bank teller at 1st National Bank in Mishawaka. She retired when she was 62 years old. Claudine enjoyed reading, cross-stitch, needlepoint, and travel. In retirement, she made five trips to Europe and participated in many activities at her church, including making Braille Bibles and making quilts for world relief. Also in retirement, she followed her son-in-law's job transfers. Prior to The Pines, she lived at Vanadium Woods Village in Bridgeville, PA. Claudine was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. Lang of Mishawaka, IN; and by her son, John L. Lang of Arlington, TX. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Leonardi (Kenneth); and by her granddaughter, Alexandra Leonardi of Upper St. Clair. Local arrangements are being handled by BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Mishawaka, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given to the Animal Rescue League, 6620 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
