CORTESE DANIEL JAMES Of Jeannette, died Thurs., May 8, 2014, in the UPMC, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 23, 1975, in Pensacola, FL, a son of Philip and Cynthia (Procious) Cortese of Monessen. Daniel was employed as a technician for Feltes Cycle, of Jeannette. He was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War serving with the Air Force. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Dennis (Kathy) Cortese, of Youngwood; a sister, Dawn (Jesse) Gentry, of Jacksonville, NC; niece and nephew, Laken and Brodie Cortese of Youngstown, OH; a great-niece and nephew, Haiden and Tavin Cortese; three new nieces, Lindsay, Samantha and Erica Black; maternal grandmother, Donna Procious of Greensburg; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Dan was a devoted Harley Rider and enjoyed riding with his family and friends. He was a gifted custom motorcycle mechanic and artist. Friends will be received 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wed. at the J.F. OTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin, at which time a Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home.
