ZAMBA ANDREW BERNARD Age 90, of Paramount Senior Care, formerly of Levittown and Freeland, PA. The son of the late Andrew and Mary Zamba of Freeland, PA. Andy served as a US Army Staff Sergeant in WWII as a part of the 702nd Tank Battalion. He earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his brave and noble service. After the war, Andy went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Penn State University in Engineering and retired from Roebling Sons Co. and later Cabot Medical Corporation. He was the beloved husband to the late Edna Zamba (Smith) for over 70 years; loving father of John E. Zamba (Sandy), Marilyn A. Richards (Robert); and was also preceded in death by his young son, Andrew Zamba; and great-granddaughter, Camryn Surman; proud grandfather of Michael C. White (Jeanette), Matthew E. White, Andrew G. Doe, and Laura A. Surman (Eric); also survived by eight great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cranberry CUP, P.O.
