
VALENTAS ROSE MARIE (DiSALVATORE) Age 91, of Ingram, formerly of Bon Air, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Wife of the late Edward G. Valentas; beloved mother of Linda (Frank) Bey, Shirley (Bob) Ricci, and Edward (Elaine) Valentas; loving grandmother of Allison Buffy (Mike), Natalie, Monica (Bill), Maria, Alicia (Josh), Anthony, Annamarie (Joe), and Edward; great-grandmother (GiGi) of Abigail, Zoe, Phoebe, Giavanna, Joya, Eadan, Noah, Gabriella, and Max; sister of the late Irma Mariani, John and Patsy DiSalvatore. Cherished by many nieces and nephews, especially Joanne (Reno) DiCesare 1st official 3rd daughter, who was always there for Aunt Rosie with a home away from home, rosaries and prayer, Elaine (Gerry) Tatka, Alvin (Nan) Mariani, Roland (Diane) Mariani, Carol 2nd official 3rd daughter and girlfriend (Rich) Descak, Henry (Barb) DiSalvatore, Lynn (Rod) Elgie, Brian Delmar. Like family, Boogaloo Cheryl Atkins who always kept her in prayer, and last but not least, Pat and Joyce who cared for her so lovingly. Thank you. Rose was a lifetime member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America (ISDA), passing on the legacy of her parents to her own family. She lived her life to the fullest and clung to every moment with her family (especially the little ones) and friends. Everyone who met her loved her. Mom, we love you up to the sky. May God sleep on your pillow!
