JUSTICE PAULINE NORAH (SMITH) 86, of Murrysville, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at her home. She was born in London, England. Daughter of the late Thomas Albert Smith and Norah Hutchinson Simpson Smith. Pauline was a loving, kind and generous wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who was adored and cherished by all who knew her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was everyone's biggest fan and supporter. She married Jimmy, her childhood sweetheart, at the age of seventeen during World War II in London, England where she lived throughout The Blitz while her husband served as a Navigator in Bomber Command with the Royal Air Force. They were married for 68 years and were devoted to each other their entire lives. Pauline, Jimmy and their three daughters (“jewels” as Pauline called them) moved to Murrysville from London in the 1960s. Pauline is survived and greatly missed by her husband, Jimmy; daughter, Autumn and son-in-law, Don; daughters, Dawn and Wendy; grandchildren, James (Lynzy) and Angela (Michael); great-grandchildren, Jesse and Mirabelle; a nephew, Patrick; a niece, Maryanne; relatives in England and a special friend, Diane. A private celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
