HERRON EMILIE C. Emilie passed away on her 97th birthday, July 13, 2013. She was born in Lexington, North Carolina but became a native of Pittsburgh, PA, where she was a long time member of Rodman Street Baptist Church. Emilie and her husband Waddell moved to Rialto, CA in 1980. She was an active member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, and a volunteer at the 5th Street Senior Citizen's Center until her death. Emilie was known for her beautiful smile. She leaves to cherish her memory her six children, Grace Johnson of Rialto, Meredith Mitchell of San Bernardino, Madeline Rabon of Beaumont, Waddene Hall (Bobby) of Rialto, Waddell Herron (Barbara) of Los Angeles, Stephanie Herron of South Pasadena; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 22 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Home Going services will be on Tuesday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1575 W 17th Street, San Bernardino, CA 92411.
