BASCOVSKY DONNA MARY Age 65, of Pittsburgh, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 9, 1948 in Heidelberg, PA to Mary and the late Edward Bascovsky, Sr. She is survived by two brothers, James and Edward, Jr. of Oakdale; three sisters, Virginia McLain, Diane Waterman, and Janice Fisher of California; also surviving are nieces, Sharon Bascovsky-Robinson of Pittsburgh, Mary and Melissa Waterman of California, and nephews, John of Oakdale, Christopher and Nicholas McLain of California. Donna had been a hair dresser and worked behind the scenes of Play productions as a wig and hair stylist. She was a member of the I.A.T.S.E. Local #3. Donna had been a wig master for productions at Heinz Hall, Benedum, and the Play House. Donna wished for no services and requested donations in lieu of flowers and condolences to be sent to her grandnephew's college fund. Memorial donations may be sent to the Nicholas Goodbrad College Fund, 25 Aspon St., Pittsburgh, PA 15205. A celebration of Donna's life is being planned for a later date.
