SACHS HILLEL MORTON Of Atlanta, and previously Pittsburgh, PA, was predeceased by his parents, Ethel and B. Louis Sachs; and is survived by his brother, Dr. Murray Sachs and wife Margie; and sister, Susan Sachs Schlansky and husband Stuart; his nieces, Debra Siegel (Philip), Rachel Katz (Benjamin), Dr. Dana Sachs Shaer, and Alison (Paolini); great-nieces and nephews, Zack and Zoe Siegel, Jacob Katz, Dylan Shaer, Charles, Aidan, and Isabella Paolini; many cousins. He was lovingly cared for by Sharon, Patria and Hazel. Hillel was born in Lithuania and came to the USA in 1937 at six years old. He resided in Pittsburgh until 2010 when he came to Atlanta to be near family. Hillel graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Business. Hillel was a Korean War veteran and served as a Corporal. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and worked in the family leather processing business, Sachs and Company. Funeral Services will be held TODAY, Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, 5509 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15232. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the Service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Beth Shalom Cemetery.
