FEATHER REID ADAIR Age 93, joined his wife in heaven on Wednesday, December 13, 2018. Reid, born and raised in Terra Alta, WV, was the son of Earl and Pearl Feather. He proudly served his country during WWII as a Navy sonar man aboard USS PC1265. After the war, he enrolled at West Virginia University and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. As a Chemical Engineer, he worked in Charleston, WV and Cincinnati, OH in the chemical manufacturing industry. While in Charleston, WV he met and married his wife of 62 years, Catherine Greenlee. He moved his family to Pittsburgh, PA, where he worked for Chester Engineers as an Environmental Engineer, retiring after 20 years. Reid enjoyed spending time with his family and was always active in his local church, participating in the choir and men's groups. In recent years, he enjoyed attending the Veterans Breakfast Club functions. He is survived by his son, Brent Feather (Leslie Feather); two daughters, Beth Feather and Melinda Feather; two grandchildren, Jason Feather and Jaime (Feather) Stevens (Rob Stevens); and two great- grandchildren, Parker and Adelyn Stevens. ROBINSON JAMES M. Age 69, of Brookline, after surviving prostate cancer for over ten years, he succumbed to his illness surrounded by his family, on December 13, 2018. James was the husband of 43 years to Denise (Luvara) Robinson; he was the loving father of Daniel (Emily), Devlin, and Andrew (Lauren); Pap Pap of Madelyn and Liam; son of the late James and Jeanne (Hawthorne) Robinson of Dormont; brother of Patricia (the late Mario) Merkle, David (Nancy), Thomas (Jeannie), Karen (John) Kelly, Terrance, Kevin, Janie (Joseph) Teta, and Kathy (Joseph) Kmonk; also survived by numerous cousins; and many nieces and nephews that were very dear to him and knew him as Uncle Jimmy or Zio James. He was a proud graduate of St. Bernard Elementary (1962), South Catholic High School (1966), Point Park College (1970), and the University of Pittsburgh, with a Master of Arts in the Administration of Justice (1982). Corporal James Robinson honorably served in the United States Marine Corps as a Radio Operator (1970-1976). James then went on to serve the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a probation and parole of?cer from 1970-2005, achieving the position of Director of Probation and Parole. He was a proud member of the PA Prison Warden's Association, serving as the organization's Sergeant at Arms. In retirement, James worked for the Pittsburgh Pirates. VYBIRAL LORRI ANNE BRAHAM Age 54, of Grove City, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Thurs., December 13, 2018, in McHenry, IL. Lorri was born on August 15, 1964 in Grove City; she was the daughter of Susan (Susie) Braham and the late David William (Buster) Braham. She graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1982, where she was in the marching band and ?ag corp. Lorri was currently employed with Plan Source as a bene?ts manager. She had previously worked for Next Generation Enrollment and also for PAE. She married the love of her life, Matt Vybiral, on November 4, 2017; he survives. She was a loving, caring, and outgoing person who loved her husband, children, stepchildren, and grandchildren. Lorri loved camping at Wildwood Acres in Andover, bird watching and setting up bird feeders in the backyard, spotting and naming birds. She lit up when spending time with her grandkids. Lorri was an Amazon Prime queen, ?nding great buys for her family. She took her ?rst trip out of the U.S. with Matt on their honeymoon to Italy and loved traveling. Lorri was an avid and talented crafter where she created stained glass, American wood art, stamping, and she particularly enjoyed paint 'n sip. Lorri was exceptional at hosting and decorating for every birthday and holiday. She was a fantastic cook and loved baking. Some of her famous meals were spaghetti squash and stuffed peppers. Lorri and Matt saved many seeds and grew a bountiful garden. They canned together 100 quarts of tomatoes, salsa, and mixed vegetables. She loved and talked about her "camp" family, where she enjoyed a shot of Jack and earned the nickname "shooter." She had fun playing Bingo and the Wheel of Fortune at the casino and was also an avid reader and collector of Wendell August. Above all, Lorri was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, and especially a Steelers fan who would armchair quarterback with the best of the boys, as well as taking "shots on goal" during the Pens games. Lorri was a dog lover and owned a couple of dachshunds named Tucker, aka T-bone, and her rescue dog, Suda, aka chitty head. She always referred to them as the Bubbas. One of Lorri's favorite pastimes was waiting for the next Net?ix to drop. Loved ones left to cherish Lorri's memory are her husband, Matt Vybiral; her mother, Susie Braham; her children, Anthony R. Spencer and wife, Sara M. (Yoder) Spencer, Tyler W. Spencer and wife, Danielle (Fleske) Spencer, and Frederick R. WALSH GERALD AUSTIN Aged 86, of Canonsburg, formerly of Upper St. Clair, died peacefully on December 14, 2018 after a three-year battle with multiple myeloma. Known by all as Jerry, he was born on April 11, 1932 in Seattle, WA, a son of Paul and Beatrice (Goulet) Walsh. A graduate of Cretin High School and the College of St. Thomas, both in St. Paul, MN, his studies were interrupted by the draft during the Korean Con?ict. He served as a U.S. Air Force survival instructor in the U.S. and then Territory of Alaska. After his enlistment, he returned to his studies, received his degree and began his career in surety bonds. His career moved him around the country, including a transfer to Buffalo, NY, where he met and married the former Susan Bowen. They eventually settled in Pittsburghbringing five children under the age of seven with them. They embraced their adopted hometown, active in their children's activities especially USC Band Parentsand avid fans of its sports teams, with Steelers season tickets since 1969. In retirement, they traveled to all seven continents by air, land and sea, and celebrated 57 years together this past May. His life was de?ned by faith, family and friends. Outgoing and optimistic, Jerry loved cooking and maintaining his house and yard. With great pride, Joe served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Joe was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and never gave up on them, win or lose. He loved sharing stories of sneaking into Forbes Field, and climbing trees in Schenley Park to watch them play. Joe was an avid and exceptional golfer -we have the scorecards from across the country to prove it! He was also a top-notch bowler, which was where he met the love of his life, his most beautiful girl in the world, Donna McDonough. Joe and Donna married on August 25, 1972. After marrying Donna, they moved to West Mif?in where they raised three children. The proud Upa of Edward (Lisa) Thomas III, Kimberly (Tony) Brown, and Dawna Thomas. Joe was a beloved grandfather, Poppy to Zachary Ruf?ng, Nicholas (Nina) Ruf?ng, and Kaitlin Thomas; and a loving great- grandfather to Rylee Ruf?ng. He leaves behind a brother, George; as well as countless nephews, nieces, neighbors, and friends. Wagner; dear mother of Valerie (Richard) Crnjarich of West Deer Twp., Gail (Leo) Battung of Harmarville and Amy (Dean) Irvine of West Deer Twp.; sister of Anthony (Ruth) Tedesco; grandmother of Michael (Jessie) Crnjarich, Brian Crnjarich, Emily and Hannah Irvine; great- grandmother of Caden and Luka. Santina was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church Oakmont. She enjoyed bingo, her visits to the beach and playing cards with the ladies at Oakridge in Oakmont. To Teenie family was everything. BLAIR MAUREEN S. Age 64, of Lower Burrell, passed from this life on December 10, 2018. Born i n L a t r o b e , g r a d u a t e of Greensburg Central Catholic High 72 and West Penn School of Nursing in 75. Maureen was an enthusiastic Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Surviving Maureen are her sisters Janet Novotny of Nashua, NH and Lainie Addessi of Erie, PA, a sister- in-law Carol Blair of Sagamore Hills, OH, and a cousin Colleen (Jeff) Zbezinski and their children Thomas and Va l e r i e o f G i b s o n i a . A d d i t i o n a l l y surviving Maureen are several nieces in Ohio and nephews in New Hampshire. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Raymond J. Blair and a brother-in-law Ronald Blaze Addessi. The family will announce a memorial service at a future date.
